UW-W Wireless Connection Instructions
Windows Vista
These instructions are for connecting to the UW-Whitewater network on Windows Vista. You only have to go through the initial setup once as long as you use the same wireless network card on your computer.
- Open your Start menu and click on Network.

- You should now see a screen similar to the screen below. Click "This computer is not connected to a network. Click to connect…” Select "Connect to a network.” If that is not a choice, choose "Network and Sharing Center” and select Connect to a network from the menu on the left.

- You should now see a screen like the one below. Highlight "uww-wifi" and click connect.

Click on "Enter/select additional log on information.

Enter your UW-Whitewater campus user name and password in the appropriate blands. Leave the logon domain field blank. Then click "OK."

6. You will get another screen like below. Click "Enter/select additional logon information."

7. You will get prompted to accept a certificate as shown below. Click "OK."

8. You should then be connected to the wireless network. If not, you may have entered your username and password incorrectly, so try again.
