USING INTERWRITE INTERACTIVE BOARDS ON CAMPUS

UW-W campus now has several locations equipped with INTERACTIVE WHITE BOARDS. The objective of this page is to provide you with one, convenient access point to the information that will help you understand how you can use the interactive board in your conference room. UW-W campus uses two brands of interactive boards: SMART boards and INTERWRITE boards. Most classrooms and Andersen General Access Lab Collaboratories, have SMART brand boards; several meeting and conference rooms on campus have INTERWRITE boards.

First, please verify the BRAND of the interactive board in your room.  INTERWRITE boards usually have just one, or two small pens / styluses (similar to a ball-pen with a plastic tip) attached to the side of the INTERWRITE board in a holder/charger. SMART boards have several oversized colored (electronic) markers (similar to large dry-erase markers) and an eraser located at the bottom of the board in a tray with placeholders for each marker and eraser.
