WHAT IT IS: Events Calendar is a convenient online service that lists many campus events in one online location, for easier planning. Events Calendar includes several separate calendars, and allows online visitors to select the calendars of interest to them, and to see events on a monthly grid.
Included is the Academic Calendar that lists important official University deadlines (for example, deadlines for adding or dropping courses), as well as a range of calendars maintained by various departments on UW-Whitewater campus, ranging from sports events, concerts, theater performances, to lectures, meetings, and technology workshops for faculty and staff.
Once you find events of interest, it's easy to add them to your personal Outlook or Entourage calendar (by downloading or requesting that the system e-mail you an event reminder), without the need to re-enter any information manually.
