International Student Teaching

We are proud to offer an ever-expanding list of international student teaching opportunities for university students. Students would complement their Wisconsin student teaching program with a short-term student teaching assignment in another country. These typically run for 2-6 weeks. We have offerings in China, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico and Sweden. This is a great way for University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students to gain an international immersion experience. This global opportunity is ideal for education students who are unable to do a traditional study abroad program or want to build on their global experiences. We encourage all students to broaden their horizons and be competitive in the job market by participating in an international educational opportunity. Please browse through our program descriptions and feel free to visit the Center for Global Education to learn more about the exciting opportunities we have offer you. Please don't hesitate to set up an appointment with me if you have any questions about our international student teaching programs.
