International faculty, researchers, staff, and visitors are a vital part of UW-Whitewater's intellectual community, providing diverse perspectives and cultural insights in the advancement of academic scholarship and research. UW-Whitewater sponsors scholars for a variety of different nonimmigrant classifications, depending upon the purpose and nature of their visit. The Center for Global Education is a resource to help support departments and professors who are interested in sponsoring and bringing International Scholars including faculty, researchers and short-term visitors to UW-Whitewater. The Center for Global Education also provides assistance to international faculty, reseachers, staff, visitors and their families with immigration status and any other needs that may arise during their stay.
