Welcome to UW-Whitewater! The Center for Global Education is committed to making your time as a student enjoyable and productive, and prides itself on its quality support services for international students. From the moment you arrive, there are support structures in place to make you feel welcome and settle in easily.

The Center for Global Education offers individual advisement on immigration, cultural adjustment, health insurance and other matters, including information, advice and assistance on applying for various benefits of nonimmigrant status such as certain types of employment. We also offer programs like the host family program and conversation partner program that allow you to get involved in the community and feel more at home. In addition, UW-Whitewater has a diverse population of international students and our International Student Association (ISA) provides a great way to meet fellow students and to make lifelong friends from other countries.
