We encourage all students consider about studying abroad regardless of a student's major, minor, or financial status. In many instances, financial aid can be applied to U.S. or foreign study.

STUDY ABROAD DEADLINES
UW-W Application Deadline – Oct 15th for Spring study or March 15th for Summer and Fall study
If you are ready to start your journey abroad, make sure to look at the UW-W Steps to Study Abroad and the Application Process links.
UW-W Financial Aid, Scholarships and Grants for Study Abroad – Whitewater is fortunate to have many different types of financial aid available for study abroad students. Look at UW-W’s funding opportunities and deadlines for scholarships and grants. The general UW-W Study Abroad Scholarship deadline is November 15th for Spring and Summer study and by April 15th for Fall and Winterim study. The deadline for the IFSA Diversity Scholarship is November 1st for Spring study or April 20th for Fall study.

International Education Week – November 9th-13th, 2009Global Café Series
The Global Café Series is an ongoing, on campus international meeting series for students. Global Café is open to any UW – W student, domestic or international, who is interested in learning more about global topics.

UW Whitewater selected for IFSA Foundation Grant for Study Abroad Scholarships
Out of 80 applications, 11 institutions were selected for IFSA Foundation awards and UW Whitewater is the only Wisconsin campus that was selected for this grant. The grant is for $100,000 for study abroad scholarships over a 2-year period!
