APPLICATION, DATES AND DEADLINES
The application process consists of two steps: an application to UW-W for approval to study abroad followed by an application to the host institution abroad.  Applications are available from the Center for Global Education.

Academic year abroad:  early October – June.  UW-W application deadline is March 15.

Spring semester abroad: January - June.  UW-W application deadline is October 15.

Due to the trimester system at Nottingham – Trent, Academic Year abroad is the only possibility for exchange students.  NTU’s academic calendar consists of three trimesters and students are required to attend all three trimesters in order to receive academic credit.  The first trimester is from October through December, the second one is from January through March, and the third trimester is from April through June.  There is no possibility to only attend just one or two trimesters and receive academic credit.
