Passport Application Information
Students must make an appointment, in advance, to submit a Passport application. Appointment times are from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Contact the Whitewater Post Office at 262-473-2103.
Due to chronic Passport application backlogs, prospective study abroad students must apply for a Passport immediately! UW-Whitewater students can apply for a passport locally at the following location:

Other information about the Passport application process:
- Most study abroad opportunities require participants to obtain a student visa – therefore, prospective study abroad students must consider visa application processing times in addition to passport application times.
- Because Passport Processing times can vary substantially, it is recommended that students consider “expedited processing” when they submit the Passport application.
- Expedited processing costs $60 + return express mail charges.
- Passport photos can be purchased at any Walgreen's. The nearest Walgreen's location is in Fort Atkinson. Tel. 920-568-9154.
