Ghana, West Africa Study/Travel Forum

Participate in a service project at a village school, take African drumming lessons, study African dance, learn about the educational, economic, and political systems of Ghana, and experience culture, business, slave castles, museums and more.

Information sessions will be held for those interested in participating in this travel study.

Sustainable Business in the Caribbean

This course is designed to provide participants with experience in sustainable business practices in two leading industries in the Caribbean: tourism and natural resource extraction. Students begin with preparatory instruction on campus and then proceed to Jamaica where they will visit representative companies in the aluminum and tourism industries, receive presentations from management on sustainability efforts and certifications, and make their own contribution through team-based sustainability projects.
