The Walworth County Economic Development Alliance (WCEDA) serves as the lead economic development organization in Walworth County.

Abbreviated Job/Project Description
The Research & Program Management Intern will assist WCEDA staff with the Government Affairs Committee, research legislative issues, maintain member/business databases, and provide staff support for the development of an economic development strategy for Walworth County.

Spring Semester/Summer - 12 hours/week (for approx. 24 weeks)
Start Date - April 1, 2008
PAID - $10.00/hour

Qualifications
Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel.
Base level knowledge of the political and legislative process on local, state, and federal levels.
Ability to utilize the phone to make direct contact with legislative offices, groups, and organizations.
Working knowledge of the internet, search engines, and other online resources.
Ability to speak before groups and express ideas and thoughts clearly.
