National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Fraternities

  1. Work hard academically.

  2. Attend events on campus.

  3. Attend greek events.

  4. Organizations will contact and invite you to attend an Informational sponsored by a chapter.

GREEK TERMS

Fraternity:
A social organization for male students, with specific objectives, rules and regulations.

IFC (Interfraternity Council):
The governing council of the Fraternities.

Intake:
The process for application to join an NPHC organization.

NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council):
The governing council of the African American Sororities and Fraternities.

PHC (Panhellenic Council):
The governing council of the five Sororities.

Rush/Recruitment:
The process of receiving a bid and being accepted into a Fraternity or Sorority.

Sorority:
A social organization for female students, with specific objectives, rules and regulations.
