Judging

Guidelines

  1. Participating groups will create a 30-second (or shorter) commercial describing who they are as a hall or organization. As with the display boards and time capsule, the focus is not on a specific homecoming theme, but on advertising why it�s worthwhile for students to get involved with the hall or organization and Warhawk life overall.
  2. Format information will be provided at the first general information meeting (September 29th).
  3. Entry forms must be turned in to Career & Leadership Development (UC 146) by 4 pm, Friday, October 10. You are encouraged to submit your entries earlier.
  4. Videos must be turned in to Career & Leadership Development, no later than Monday, October 20th, by 4:00 pm to qualify for judging. Videos will not be returned!
  5. Videos must be designed and created by current UW-Whitewater students.
  6. Videos will be played during the Homecoming Variety Show and on Cable 19, and the top video from each division will be played during the Homecoming football game!
  7. No vulgarity, profanity, promoting of irresponsible use of alcohol, or implying sexual or racial discrimination will be permitted. Videos violating this rule will be automatically disqualified.
  8. The decision of the judges is FINAL.
