Bowling, Billiards and Brainiacs Information
Monday, October 25th • 5PM - 7PM • University Center - Warhawk Alley
- Each organization entering shall complete a Triple B registration form at https://my.uww.edu. This will indicate which of the activities (Bowling, Billiards and/or Brainiacs) you will participate in.
- There is NO cost for participation in these events.
- Bowling, Billiards and Brainiacs will run under normal divisions (Greek, Residence Hall and Student Organization).
- Groups participating in more than one of the three events must utilize different members for each event (for example, people in trivia cannot bowl or play billiards).
- Members of groups not participating in a specific event must remain out of the general traffic area (especially surrounding the pool tables), and are encouraged to cheer on their teammates.
Good sportsmanship is expected and required.
Please be aware these games are physical in nature, so be careful! HSC is not liable for any injuries incurred while participating in or viewing an event.
Bowling, Billards, and Brainiacs is scheduled for Monday, October 25th from 5PM to 7PM at the University Center - Warhawk Alley.
BOWLING
- Team of 4. One team per group.
- Female participants must use a 10 to 14 lb bowling ball. Male participants must use a 12 to 16 pound ball. Participants may use their own ball or a house ball.
- Participants must wear bowling shoes.
- Four people from the same team will bowl on one lane. The team with the highest collective score will win their division.
- All Bowling Association Standards will apply. Please check: http://bowl.com/rules/index.jsp for more information.
- Decisions by HSC are final.
BILLIARDS
- Team of two. One team per group.
- Wear comfortable clothing to shoot billiards.
- This will be single elimination, 8-Ball tournament.
- All Billiard Congress of America rules will be followed:
- Decisions by HSC are FINAL.
http://www.pool-table-rules.com . Generally, when you play 8-ball, you try to pocket all the balls of your chosen suit, either stripes or solid colored balls, until you pocket the 8-ball at the end. The 8-ball is the last ball that should be pocketed.
BRAINIACS
- Team of five. One team per group.
- Trivia (format to be revealed soon!) will include questions about games and UW-Whitewater.
