Homecoming 2012

Triple B Information

Monday, October 15th
5:00 PM • University Center - Concourse

  1. Each organization entering shall complete registration forms at https://my.uww.edu by 11:55 pm Wednesday, October 3rd.  This will indicate which of the activities (Bowling, Billiards and/or Brainiacs) you will participate in.
  2. There is NO cost for participation in these events.  
  3. Bowling, Billiards and Brainiacs will run under normal divisions (Greek, Residence Hall and Student Organization).
  4. Groups participating in more than one of the three events must utilize different members for each event (for example, people in trivia cannot bowl or play billiards).
  5. Members of groups not participating in a specific event must remain out of the general traffic area (especially surrounding the pool tables), and are encouraged to cheer on their teammates/ representatives. 

Good sportsmanship is expected and required.

Please be aware these games are physical in nature, so be careful!  HSC is not liable for any injuries incurred while participating in or viewing an event.

Check-in begins at 4:30 PM in the UC- Concourse and concludes at 5:15 PM. Please provide names of competitors at this time.


  1. Team of 2. One team per group.
  2. Participants may use their own ball or a house ball.
  3. Participants must wear bowling shoes. Please bring a photo id in order to check-out shoes.
  4. Two people from the same team will bowl on one lane.  The team with the highest collective score will win their division.
  5. All Bowling Association Standards will apply. Please check:  http://bowl.com/rules/index.jsp  for more information.
  6. Decisions by HSC are FINAL.


  1. Team of two.  One team per group.
  2. Wear comfortable clothing to shoot billiards.
  3. This will be single elimination, 8-Ball tournament. The 8 ball can go in any pocket at the end of the game.
  4. All Billiard Congress of America rules will be followed:
    http://www.pool-table-rules.com.  Generally, when you play 8-ball, you try to pocket all the balls of your chosen suit, either stripes or solid colored balls, until you pocket the 8-ball at the end. The 8-ball is the last ball that should be pocketed.
  5. Decisions by HSC are FINAL. 


  1. Teams of four.  One team per group.
  2. A single elimination tournament will be held. Rounds are ten minutes in length.
  3. The team with the most points at the end of the round will advance to the next round.
  4. Trivia will include questions about movies, Hollywood, and UW-Whitewater. 
  5. Decisions by HSC are FINAL.
