If you're looking to get involved and earn money at the same time, then campus job opportunities are a great option! There are approximately 2,000 campus jobs to choose from and they are great way to become more acquainted with UW-Whitewater, meet new people and earn some extra cash.
Federal Work-Study employment is on campus (except for America Reads), and work schedules are set up around classes. This program is available to citizens or permanent residents of the United States. To be eligible, the student must receive a Federal Work-Study allocation as a part of the financial aid package. Jobs can be found by accessing the HawkQuest.
Regular pay positions are available on campus for all students. Students are limited to 30 hours a week during periods of enrollment. Students on foreign student visas (F-1's) are restricted to 20 hours per week during periods of enrollment. These positions are listed via Cable 19 and the Student Jobline Web site.
Chartwells Food Service:
Chartwells, the private company with the contract to provide food services to UW-Whitewater, hires approximately 225 students each year to work in the dining halls and for its catering service.
