The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is administered to freshmen and seniors to give students the opportunity to share information about their undergraduate experience, including their views about the quality of their education and how they spend their time.
The Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) was designed to complement the NSSE, which is administered to undergraduate students. FSSE measures faculty members' expectations of student engagement in educational practices that are empirically linked with high levels of learning and development. The survey also collects information about how faculty members spend their time on professorial activities, such as teaching and scholarship, and the kinds of learning experiences their institutions emphasize.
The Senior Outcomes Assessment Survey is a survey of the experiences and plans of graduating seniors. Graduating senior is defined as those who have submitted an application for graduation.
