Student Success Measures

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning is in the process of developing methods to tracks several measures of student success. These include metrics such as:

  • the amount of time it takes students to complete a degree
  • failure rates in individual courses
  • student participation levels in high impact practices (HIPs)
  • how many credits student attempt versus complete each semester

As reports and dashboards measuring student success are developed,  this section of the website will be updated with information that will assist administrators and faculty members make data-informed decisions regarding the best means of increasing student success at UW-Whitewater.
