Project Assist
A center designed and staffed to assist students with learning disabilities. Services are provided primarily in one-on-one settings where students work with tutors on strategies in the context of specific coursework. The center also provides special testing accommodations and individual academic advising. Students must apply to receive assistance from Project ASSIST.

Center for Students with Disabilities
Center for Students with Disabilities provides programs and services for students with physical disabilities. Academic Support Services within the unit provides special accommodations for testing, reading, and writing. Center for Stuents with Disabilities also houses Vocational and Work Experience programs.

Honors Program
The Honors Program is designed for students who graduated in the upper 25% of their high school class and attained the requisite composite ACT score. Through participation in honors courses, the Great Works Program, faculty mentors, peer mentors, undergraduate research program, the Honors Program challenges students with special academic talents to fully realize their academic potential.

New Student Programs
The Program is designed to help students in their first year of college transition to university life. Through provision of specials programs such as the First Year Experience, orientation programs, Family Day and freshman convocation, New Students Programs exists as a resources and first contact for all first year students, regardless of their problem or concern.

Campus Tutorial Services
Academic and Support Services is available to all students on campus, providing assistance in developing general academic skills (e.g., test-taking, note-taking, study skills) and assistance in specific academic areas. Special assistance is available in the Math Center (provides assistance with a variety of 100 and 200-level math courses) & Math Lab (provides assistance specifically for Math 760-040 and 760-041), the Writing Center (developing skills in grammar, writing clearly, revision and editing), Supplemental Instruction (structured study for specific courses) and the Tutorial Center (one-on-one tutoring available for a variety of courses).
