Double Helix

This is a community for students interested in science careers in biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Students will explore careers in these disciplines, participate in service projects such as tutoring, science activities in the area schools, and be involved in outreach activities in the Whitewater community. For future science teachers, there will be a chance to earn volunteer hours toward admission to the College of Education. Students must obtain at least a 19 on the Math subset of their ACT score to join this Learning Community.

Available for: Majors in biology, chemistry, physics and undeclared majors considering a science major. Must have a Math ACT subset score of 19 or higher.

Location: Wellers Hall, 2nd and 3rd floor
