This learning community is designed for freshman exploring education as a possible major. Students will be
pre-registered for high demand courses such as: Special Education 205: Psychology of the Exceptional Child
and Comm110: Introduction to Human Communication. Freshmen in this learning community will also have the
opportunity to take General Education core classes with instructors who are excited about teaching their course
to learning community students.

Students who sign up forBecoming a World Class Teacher will have opportunities to participate in volunteer activities
throughout the semester on and off campus, travel to Chicago with their learning community for a full day
excursion, become exposed to leadership opportunities on our campus, and much, much more! .
