Excellence in Education-Making the Grade is a brand new Learning Community for students interested in becoming educators.  This learning community is led by the director of the children's center on campus, Holly McFaul. This new learning community will take three classes this Fall, live together in Knilans Hall, and participate in activities outside the classroom led by their staff mentor.  Joining this learning community grants you priority registration in classes that are difficult to get as a Freshman.  You will also have volunteer opportunities, including early teaching experiences and leadership training. Students in Learning Communities for education majors tell us, "Joining a learning community is a great way to meet people on campus with the same interests and goals".
