Commitment to the educational success of our students is UW-Whitewater's #1 priority. We are committed to ensuring that the goal of earning a college degree is achieved. Pathway for Success students will have access to resources and assistance they need to graduate. The Pathway for Success program demonstrates UW-Whitewater's commitment to ensure student academic success by providing support and assistance to help work toward degree completion.
Students participating in the program will find faculty and staff devoted to assisting them in making the most of their learning experience. The program provides cohesive and supportive services that help students transition into the university environment, develop self-responsibility and motivation for learning, as well as establishing educational goals.
Students will be advised in the Academic Advising and Exploration Center (AAEC) for three semesters. Pathway for Success students will be assigned specifically to a Pathway for Success advisor in the AAEC. The advisor will work with students one-on-one to help the student focus on identifying academic goals, areas for personal growth, as well as helping students become successful, independent individuals.
The Pathway for Success Program is by invitation only.
