How would you like to pursue your own business idea (or a new idea in an existing organization), be a part of something that is truly meaningful to you, and one that benefits society -- all at the same time? Sound too idealistic to be true? Well, entrepreneurs do this all the time, and most of us would like to help others while we make a decent living. Ask your local art gallery owner, the organic farmer, and the owners of animal care centers, outdoor outfitters, store front exercise centers, and yes, even sports bars. Many of these entrepreneurs are business savvy and care a lot about what they do and care about those they serve. Social Entrepreneurs are visionaries and ultimate realists, concerned with the practical implementation of their vision above all else.
This Social Entrepreneurs Learning Community will help you get ready for this fulfilling independent career choice. This learning community will expose you to social entrepreneurs and help you explore your values and make choices that will improve the chances for profits, self-fulfillment and service.
