UW-Whitewater to honor Alums on Founders Day

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will honor five alumni on Saturday April 20 during its annual Founders Day celebration.
This marks the 134th year of the founding of UW-Whitewater as a comprehensive university. Founders Day is highlighted by the recognition of the alumni award recipients.
The recipients of the Distinguished Alumni awards are:
- Carol Ann (Kluth) Schneider ’58, Grafton, Wis. Founder and CEO Seek, Inc.
- James B. Miller III ’65, Whitewater, Wis. UW-W Baseball Coach, Asst. Professor of Health, Phys. Ed., and Rec.
- Jeanne Julseth-Heinrich ’67, ’76, Hazelhurst, Wis. Music educator, conductor and composer.
The recipients of Outstanding Recent Alumni are:
- Diane (Prochaska) Hamilton ’88, Madison, Wis. Owner/Founding Partner, Center for Organizational Effectiveness.
- Dr. Mark Niedfeldt ’88, Milwaukee, Wis. Assistant Professor, Medical College of Wisconsin.
The public is invited to attend a luncheon that day at the James R. Conner University Center. A social hour begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the alumni recognition at 12:15 p.m. The cost is $13.00 a person.
