UW-Whitewater hosts Great Books workshop Aug. 6 and 7

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is hosting the “Great Books Foundation: Shared Inquiry Leader Workshop” on Aug. 6 and 7 in Hyer Hall.

The two-day basic leader-training course introduces participants to the “shared inquiry” method of reading and discussion. The course is intended for individuals involved in the Junior Great Books or adult Great Books program education professionals or anyone interested in improving their leadership and discussion skills.

The cost is $149 per person and participants who register before July 16 will save $20 on their registration fee. To register, call 1-800-222-5870 extension 1 or submit an online registration form at www.greatbooks.org. Registrations cannot be accepted at the class session.
