Former art students join instructor at special exhibit

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater art instructor Karl Borgeson is retiring after 30 years of teaching, and will be honored at a special show exhibit on Monday
Jan. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at the Cross Gallery located at the university.
The ceremony honoring Borgeson, kicks off a month long ceramic exhibit tying Borgeson’s art with work from his former students that dates from the 1960’s to the present.
Some of Borgeson’s former students have gone on to great success and several of them will be represented in the show. Other exhibitors are more recent graduates currently enrolled in graduate art programs around the country.
