2005 Fairhaven Lecture Series to explore Russia

December 21, 2004

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater spring 2005 Fairhaven Lecture Series, “Exploring Russia Now and Then,” begins Jan. 24 and runs weekly through May 2. The lectures are located in Fellowship Hall at the Fairhaven Retirement Community, 435 West Starin Road, in Whitewater. Presentations are free and open to the public, and will last 30-35 minutes with 20 minutes for questions.

“In recent years, we have examined Africa, the Middle East and China,” said John Kozlowicz, lecture series coordinator. “Now, with Assistant Professor Anne Hamilton obtaining a federal grant to lead a team of UW-Whitewater faculty to Russia last summer, it was clear that we should review their findings in the Fairhaven Lecture Series.”

The series is sponsored by the office of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. For more information, contact Kozlowicz at (262) 472-1120.
