Joseph Horse Capture to speak on Curtis exhibit

Joseph Horse Capture will present on October 13, 2005 at 7 p.m. in the Light Recital Hall in conjunction with the Edward S. Curtis exhibit in the Crossman Gallery. Great-great grandson of Horse Capture, photographed by Curtis in 1908, Joseph D. Horse Capture will share his insights into Native American culture and what meaning Curtis’ work holds for Native Americans and himself personally.
The presentation is free and open to the public. The Horse Capture lecture is sponsored by: Commercial Bank of Whitewater, First Citizens State Bank of Whitewater, Native American Student Organization and Home Lumber of Whitewater.
