Student Optimist Club to hold concert for hurricane victims

In response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi, the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater Student Optimist Club is raising money for a mission trip to Handcock, Miss. Jan. 2-11, 2006, and for supplies to aid the victims.
The Optimist Club will sponsor a fundraising concert featuring cover artist Joe Richter on Friday, Nov. 11 at the Jitters Coffeehouse located on the first floor in Wells Hall. The concert is free but donations will be accepted for the cause.
