MTV star Danny Roberts to speak on campus

Former MTV “The Real World” star Danny Roberts will speak on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 in the Commons, located in the James R. Connor University Center. The event is sponsored by IMPACT, UW-Whitewater’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allies organization.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets can be picked up from the University Center Ticket Center beginning Monday, Nov. 28. Roberts, best known for his role on MTV’s “The Real World,” will speak about a variety of topics, including sexuality and being lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender in the real world.

IMPACT offers opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allies to socialize and support one another. IMPACT meets weekly and welcomes all members of the UW-Whitewater community to join. For more information about the event contact Jonathan Saidler at SaidlerJM13@uww.edu.
