Annual insurance Dual Choice enrollment period begins Oct. 9

The annual insurance Dual Choice enrollment period for University of Wisconsin-Whitewater staff and faculty is Oct. 9 to Oct. 27, 2006.
The Dual Choice enrollment period is an opportunity for employees who have a health insurance plan to switch health plans or to change from single coverage to family coverage without a waiting period for pre-existing conditions. It is not an enrollment time for employees without health insurance.
There are health plans that will no longer available, and there are new health plans available for 2007. There are also changes in health plans, network providers, pharmacy benefits and dental coverage. All of this information can be found in the 2007 It's Your Choice booklet. Copies of the booklet and additional information about insurance programs offered can be found at http://www.etf.wi.gov.
The Employee Benefits Fair, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Roseman Gymnasium, is part of the Dual Choice enrollment period. UW-Whitewater staff and faculty are encouraged to come and ask the vendors questions about policies or anything else they would like to know. Information, materials and other resources will be available for every employee who attends.
