Whether it's football, baseball, basketball or hockey, many people from Wisconsin share a great interest in sports. The American Marketing Association (AMA) will show students the marketing side of sports at its semiannual Marketing Week, Nov. 12-15.
"People should attend the different events because it is an area of interest to a lot of students," said Carolyn Schweitzer, AMA board member. "Students will gain firsthand insight about sports marketing."
The list of activities include:
- Monday, Nov. 12 - Adam Adhearn from Wisconsin Athletics at 4 p.m. in Carlson 1007
- Tuesday, Nov. 13 - Craig Pinterns from Marquette Athletics at 4 p.m. in Carlson 1010
- Wednesday, Nov. 14 - Marketing Challenge at 4:15 p.m. in Winther 2001
- Wednesday, Nov. 14 -John Herman Jr. at 5:15 p.m. in Upham 145
