Warhawk football national championship book
Talk about a season to remember. The 2007 Warhawk football team brought home another WIAC championship and the program's first national championship. Senior running back Justin Beaver was also awarded the prestigious Gagliardi Trophy, making him the national player of the year for Division III football. All of this and more is captured in a commemorative book on the 2007 football season.
The 54-page, full-color book includes stories and highlights of each of the season's 15 games. Each game story is accompanied by a full-page photo. The book also includes game statistics and records for the season.
"The 2007 football season was one to remember. This book will provide a chance for Warhawk fans to cherish the school's first-ever title in football forever," said Paul Plinske, director of intercollegiate athletics.
The book can be purchased at the University Bookstore, by contacting Warhawk Athletics at (262) 472-4661 or by e-mailing Ruth Hake at haker@uww.edu. The book sells for $20 plus tax and the proceeds support Warhawk Athletics.
