John Kenneth Kyle lecture features Marquette professor Daniel Maguire

The 23rd annual John Kenneth Kyle Lecture will feature Marquette University Professor of Ethics Daniel Maguire.  The event, free and open to everyone, will take place at 7 p.m. in the Hamilton Center on the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater campus.

Maguire will present "Paranoia and the Roots of War: Unmasking the Illusions of a 'Superpower.'" He specializes in issues relating to social justice, medical and ecological ethics.

He is the author of 11 books, 200 articles in professional journals and magazines, and editor of three anthologies.
 
The John Kenneth Kyle lecture series was endowed by Kyle, a 1922 UW-Whitewater alumnus. He was committed to UW-Whitewater and wanted to create a lecture series to bring speakers with a strong connection to Wisconsin to campus.
