University Writing Award winners announced

The possibilities of the written word remain unlimited. One can convey meaning, power and expression in various capacities, including but not limited to, expository essays, creative writing and research papers. As part of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s strategic plan to promote the pursuit of knowledge and academic development for students, faculty members submitted student writing pieces to the University Writing Awards Committee for consideration. From there, the University Writing Award Winners were announced April 24, 2008:
