Getting around during Wyman Mall construction

Released: May 27, 2008

The southern phase of the Wyman Mall construction has begun and certain mall entrances to McGraw Hall, Hyer Hall and Andersen Library and the surrounding walkways will be closed. The construction zone starts north of McGraw Hall and extends beyond the Andersen Library building. Temporary sidewalks have been installed to help circumvent the construction zone and will lead to accessible entrances.

Accessible entrances to Hyer Hall, McGraw Hall and Andersen Library building are:

Hyer Hall

McGraw Hall

Andersen Library

Follow the attached link www.uww.edu/campus/wyman_mall_map.pdf to the map that highlights the affected building entrances and identifies the routes and access points that will be open during construction. The striped orange area represents the entire construction zone; the solid orange areas signify the closed entrances and the green lines and blocks show alternate routes and open accessible entrances to the affected buildings during construction.

Efforts will be made to restore access to closed entrances as close to the opening of fall semester as possible with the overall project slated for completion during fall semester 2008.
