Warhawks looking to take care of business against University of Mary-Hardin Baylor

The UW-Whitewater football team is just one win away from a fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III national championship game. The team will travel to Belton, Texas this weekend to face the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in a semi-final match up noon, Saturday, Dec. 13.

Intercollegiate Athletics Director Paul Plinske wants the team to remain focused, as they have not yet reached the ultimate goal.  “We don’t want to jinx it right now,” he said. “We just have to get out there and take care of business.”

The Warhawks are looking to claim their second national title. “The team and the coaches have worked really hard and winning the title again will be a tribute to everyone at UW-Whitewater and the athletics department,” Plinske said.
