Faces of Freedom Summer

Herbert Randall, a talented African-American and Native American photographer, will be visiting UW-Whitewater. Randall's work documents African-American life and culture, and in the summer of 1964, he photographed the Mississippi Freedom Summer project in Hattiesburg, Miss. His photographs are featured in an exhibition and book called Faces of Freedom Summer. He will be discussing his work on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. and will also give a gallery talk on Wednesday, Feb. 29.
