Jack Hanna comes to UW-Whitewater April 7

Jack HannaWorld-famous zookeeper and animal expert Jack Hanna will appear at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on April 7 for two public events.

Hanna, director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, is also a published author and frequent guest on national television.

"His programs are entertaining and informative," said Robert Boostrom, assistant professor of marketing at UW-Whitewater. "It's a great chance to see amazing, exotic animals and learn about their habitats and the environmental issues they are facing."

The programs will take place Monday, April 7, in the University Center Hamilton Room, at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

All tickets for the 4:30 p.m. show cost $20. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show cost $25 for adults, and $20 for children, students and seniors.

Tickets can be purchased at downtownwhitewater.com; by calling 262-473-2200, or in person at the Downtown Whitewater office at 150 W. Main Street, GMA Printing, Quiet Hut Sports, Commercial Bank, First Citizens State Bank, Sentry Foods or Whitewater City Hall.
