Find great gifts at the Ceramics and Jewelry Sale

saleThe 37th annual UW-Whitewater Ceramics and Jewelry Sale will take place Dec. 8 - 10 in the Greenhill Center of the Arts Atrium.

"Items for sale are of handmade, one-of-a-kind quality, and consist of utilitarian/functional ceramic works and wearable jewelry," said Jared Janovec, associate professor in the Department of Art and Design. "All items are handmade by students and current or retired faculty members and are of high quality. They make for great gifts for holidays, birthdays, etc."

The event will take place on Dec. 8 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.; Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The sale helps raise funds for the Ceramics Guild and Alloy (metalsmithing) student organizations on campus. A portion of the money helps fund visiting artist events and other endeavors of interest.
