Sexual Assault Awareness Month

The month of April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month in the United States. Sexual violence is a serious issue and concern for our society and our campus community. We need everyone's help to end it. As a part of the university's ongoing prevention and education efforts to end sexual violence, campus will host several events.

April 20

Survival Mindset Workshop
5-6:30 p.m. Esker Hall, room 108
Learn about physical awareness, situational awareness and personal response to possible violence.

Trivia Night 
7-9 p.m. University Center, room 259
Get a team together to answer general trivia questions and increase awareness about sexual assault on our campus. Teams (8 people max) can register by emailing team name and roster to wellness@uww.edu.

April 26

Denim Day
Wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, and educate yourself and others about sexual assault.

April 27

Take Back the Night
6:30 p.m. Esker Hall, room 108
Provides support to those who have been impacted by sexual assault or domestic violence either personally or indirectly. Join us for a walk around campus followed by a campfire and s'mores.
