The Provost's Office invites eligible UW-Whitewater undergraduate students to participate in the Seventh Annual Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship Competition sponsored by the UW System Advisory Group on the Liberal Arts.
Up to three students who are selected as finalists in our campus competition will receive $500 scholarships from the UW-Whitewater Foundation to be used toward educational expenses at UW-Whitewater in the 2012-2013 academic year.
The finalists' essays will then be entered into a pool to be judged at the UW System level for an additional $2,000 scholarship.
The competition is open to any UW-Whitewater undergraduate student in academic good standing who has completed a minimum of 30 credit hours by the end of the fall semester 2011. Deadline is Feb. 1, 2012.
