A group of UW-Whitewater staff is working to help international scholars transition to the community. Some scholar visits are as short as a couple of weeks and other visits could last the academic year. The group is looking for members of the UW-Whitewater community who can house scholars for either a few days, or potentially the entire duration of a scholar's visit. This is an opportunity to foster cultural exchange, global goodwill and international friendships.

If you would like to participate, or for more information, contact David Halbach 472-5749, Frank Bartlett 472-5301 or Erika Cuevas 472-5759.

The campus community is invited to a retirement celebration for Christine Clements, dean of the College of Business and Economics, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. Thursday, July 24, in University Center room 259. The event program will begin at 4 p.m.
