Kudos to Veronica Havard, Hannah Jean, and Marshall Klein -- the UW-Whitewater student team -- who took second place in the 2013-14 Marketing EDGE Collegiate ECHO Challenge. It is the highest finish ever for a UW-Whitewater team. Andrew Dahl, lecturer in marketing, was the group's adviser. The marketing challenge centered on Domino's Pizza. Each team, working with a theoretical budget of $250,000, was challenged to create an integrated marketing campaign using methods such as media channels, social media, email, website, broadcast and print media with a goal of increasing the number of orders generated by the Domino's mobile app. Marketing EDGE will provide the Department of Marketing with $2,500 to award in scholarships because of the second place finish.
