This video aired Dec. 14 at a reception honoring the Gagliardi Trophy finalists -- the top players in Division III football based on academics, athletics and community service. Days later, UW-Whitewater quarterback Matt Blanchard led the Warhawks to their third national championship in four years, winning the Stagg Bowl 13-10 over Mount Union.
