UW Health Clinical Simulation Program

One of the most challenging aspects of training for health professionals is providing robust and realistic learning opportunities to prepare for actual patient care situations.

To address this educational need, UW Health has constructed a state-of-the-science clinical simulation facility with multidisciplinary facilities, resources and curriculum, and interdisciplinary capabilities.

The center offers educational opportunities for students, faculty and staff from University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, UW Medical Foundation, the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, departments across UW-Madison and the community.

Capable of conducting interdisciplinary health care scenarios, the new program brings together current simulation activities and ensures that UW Health takes advantage of the latest simulation techniques and technologies in this rapidly growing field of health professionals education.
