The Professional Development Plan (PDP) is a DPI mandated plan developed by educators in the state of Wisconsin to renew their licenses. The PDP is based on Wisconsin Teacher Standards, the Wisconsin Administrator Standards, and the Wisconsin Pupil Services Standards.
DPI mandates that a 3-person team must approve and verify the initial educator's plan. Teachers, administrators, and pupil services personnel must have all their licenses renewed using a PDP if they are considered an initial educator. The people who approve and verify the PDP's must e trained by DPI in a 2-day training session. These training sessions are taught by DPI trained personnel.
