Upward Bound
Week of June 17-23, 2007
June 18, 2007:
The students began learning spanish this morning and are really excited about learning new things. They were even practicing their spanish with friends for the rest of the day outside of class!
June 19, 2007:
The students had time to work on their chemistry and math homework with each other. They had fun, but stayed on task as well. The T/Cs were also there to help the students whenever they needed some assistance. They had a little fun too! For dinner, the students took a walk over to Cozumel, a Mexican Restaurant off campus. At recreation, the students played a few competitive games of sand volleyball. They may have gotten a little dirty in the sand, but they had a great time!
