GOALS
- Increase the number of Latino students participating in precollege programs
- Provide students with research experience and hands on activities in academic, career, and cultural areas
- Expose students to a college experience
OBJECTIVES
- Enhance analytical writing/reading skills
- Introduce the foundation of general science, math, and literature
- Explore music, theater, dance, and art
- Experience Latino culture from a historical and contemporary perspective
ACTIVITIES
Students will:- Produce poster presentations
- Attend enrichment sessions in academic areas
- Attend on-site visits to area businesses
- Participate in cultural and recreational activities
